Removing the Coat Revealed How Much Help He Needed

The mats were far too dense for ordinary grooming. Rescuers and groomers had to use clippers, working carefully around the dog’s fragile body and removing the hardened fur gradually. Cutting too quickly risked injuring the sensitive skin hidden underneath.
